TEMEVO/SFL
Setting up a good crew is easy if you do it right, being organized and not making meetings last minute is a huge thing, look at prvrt he keeps things listed and posted months in advanced.
When people around town keep doing stuff like this it keeps the people that would normally go out and meet up staying at home since they have other plans or when they go out there is a low turnout....

OK lets make somethings clear. First off, we never decided to elect anyone responsible for a name or organization of anything. We as of the moment are in the process of making a crew. Secondly, Sonics does suck as a meeting place but i never heard you step up to make anything better so instead of pointing out how bad things are just now...improve them or suggest something. If you dont want to be a part of it then just dont bash it and go on your way. Third, I never said it was just going to be just evos, since we have had the meets all turbo cars have been welcomed to join us. TEMEVO has been organized and im sure everyone in their crew does their part to contribute and help out, instead of sitting back and bashing the attempts im making do something.

My point was an attempt to improve things by telling you what the problems are and why people are not gung ho about the meets etc.
I am all about trying to help out, but you have to look at other things than just getting numbers and turbo cars together.
#1 when you open things up to everyone with a turbo car you are potentailly bringing in a bunch of 16 year old ricers etc that are going to detract from the group as a whole, not exlcuding them also is a big thing to not do, but accepting some on a very smaller scale etc.
I was telling you stuff to help bring out a more quality crowd and why people are not as interested and together as you have pointed that TEMEVO is.

im all about having a quality crowd to join up. however, there are some people that have their heads gassed up because their car runs well - whatever. Believe it or not i dont want all the responsiblity of running the show so you can help control this if you want to be a part of it. I dont want cocky people or ricers in the crew all i want is a bunch of people that get along with each other and can have a good time hanging out together. Im just trying to get a crew formed since some people have requested i try to get this going. All help is appriciated.
Well that is what I am talking about. Luis, Miguel, and others are all cool peeps, however last time I was there, it was unorganized and boring etc at sonics, not to mention the peoplle that acted like retards and were cutting others off at high speeeds etc.
If you get things organized, punctual, and the location and time always the same (and good)people will start to show and the big part is keeping the young ricers out, and letting a couple of select younger people hang if they can control them selves and their friends.

Seriously though... We have a family here because we don't allow asses to ruin it for us plus we actually get together and do things as almost a family would. We had an *** in a mustang do a burnout in our parking lot so we just banned him and will not welcome him back. We also allow anybody to show but just make sure to keep it on track as an Evo meet.
At the next meet try planning a family/picnic day where the Families/significant others could also take part. Rent a pavilion somewhere and have a barbecue. We have meets here but oit also helps to have other activities. AutoX keeps at least 5 or 6 of us busy once a month and gives us pride and a sense of accomplishment and cameraderie.
Going to the NHRA events at Moroso has also given us a bit of a rep and even inspired the West Palm Beach Mitsu Dealership to donate $500 for the best Evo at the event. Also thanks to Cece who works down there at Moroso and Mitsu. She is a real doll!

Rumors
To all team EVO members and organizers. There has been a thread that was started in the other forums in regards to your tuners coming to Fynetune.
I would like to clear all this up.
Any Tuner is welcome to fynetune. Any customer that would like to bring their own tuner is more than welcome even for a tuner day event. We do have our own in house tuner who works specifically on our customer’s cars and our shop cars. "Lance" does all our AEM tuning in house and if anyone would like to use him he can always be found at our shop.
Other than that we are open to your own tuners coming in to use our Dyno facility.
If you have any questions about his please

You see when I try to type ********************* all I get is asterisks... Don't you just love people who behave like they are in kindergarten?
