Hey Chris, i ended up 8th.................out of er,uh 8!!! All i neded was another sec. each day and i would of been around 5th. Thanks for the input though on my last run i took off nearly 2 sec. All in all was a great learning experience, Im just not pushing the car enough, I wasnt even close to the threshold of what this thing can do with the suspension setup. This thing can handle scary fast! The 944 would easly come around at these speeds!Oh well More Seat Time Needed!!!

 

That's the advantage of all wheel drive. You just need a little more practice and then you will get into the swing with the new car.

I saw that they are working on a rally cross near Sebring on March 6th, and then there is a club that is having an EVO time trial competition at Sebring at the end of April. I've already signed up for the Rallycross, and I am getting more info on the time trial competition. I'll keep everyone posted on these events.

OK folks, we MAY have a new team member joining us for the next meet on March 6. I don't know how many people remember Tom (I hope that is his name, please GOD hold off the alzheimers just a few more years) but he met us by the cars and he lives in WPB. He said he might drive down for the meet so let's all be there to welcome him that night.

Tom, to find a map to our meeting place go to page 121 of this thread or go to bottom of this screen and type "Dolphin Mall Map" into the 'search this thread' box. It should be the second of the results. And that should give you three zooming maps to our meet location.

Easiest way to get there is to take Turnpike South to 25th street I think and the mall is right next to the exit. If you ask Jonason50 he can give you better verbal instructions. We're parked on the perimeter of the parking lot by the Old Navy & Spports Authority.
