I ran one not to long ago from a roll and beat it, but some people were saying that they didnt think the person driving the evo could drive. So basically im curious to know if this is true. I hardly ever see evos out, thats why I came on here to ask. Let me know if any of you are interested.

I'm bone stock and prowd.

Sorry, Turboback Exhaust & Ground kit, but if your still willing, stop by the meet this Saturday and I'm sure someone would be willing to give you a run. You could probably arrange it.

So what mods do you have? Cause I don't think you're going to have a lot of luck if you are stock yourself.

Well If he's got 221 hp to the wheels than I'd say it was possible to stick with or slowly pull a stock evo depending on the drivers.

Considering a 25% driveline loss that would put the evo at 203.25 to the wheels

Nice numbers. Last time we had a Dyno Day most of the stock Evos were running about 225 HP and 235 TQ on the 4WD Dyno up at Twilight Performance. That was last August though. 98 degree weather and loads of humidity.

So a stock evo should be a good run for you. I'll try to find my dyno sheet from back then. It's lost somewhere in this office.

If that is so then i definately think it wasnt the driver the reason i walked that evo. Maybe i wouldnt do so bad against one that has an exhaust.

Maybee you wouldnt do so bad, but remember alot of the guys that have dyno'd came in higher than that. And I think with the exhaust their pushing a little higher than 225 to the wheels.

those are good numbers and a fat torque curve, a stock evo is only good from a launch...they're gutless from a roll until they're modded

I'll ruin, um, run the Jetta stock. I don't see a problem. My credentials are good and the car is stock, but you had better hurry up. These guys are starting to infect me with the mod bug.

The STU class is great. Look at how close I was compared to the STI. And he has alot of parts on his. I could beat him stock if I had a little more practice on the tires.

Later all.
