It was only a matter of time before someone ran into the back of me

Kyle and I were driving home from Tavernier this morning (around 6 am) and we got off the turnpike at sw 216th street. Well eventually that road leads to US1 where there is a STOP sign.. He STOPPED (Kyle was driving cos I was half drunk/half asleep) started to go, but then realized oncoming traffic was going to fast and as soon as he STOPPED again... BAM! The retard behind us apparently just looked at the traffic and tried to gun it when we barely started going the first time... not realizing we STOPPED again. GRRRR.

So the damage is basically I need to get my bumper repainted (or get a JDM rear ) get a new taillight on hte right sight cos it's cracked, and get my trunk realligned b/c now it's out of whack. Since it was dark we just thought it was scratched a bunch on the bumper and the lady and her friend kept saying "Oh that will buff right out". HA. (Pictures to follow)

I heard a REd Evo Crashed last night....

 

What on coming traffic? You mean he stopped fully...then he noticed a car to the left or right of him approaching pretty quickly(like it wasn't going to stop) so he hit the brakes...and the car behind you guys assumed it was all good in the hood and proceeded not thinking you guys would brake in the middle of the stop sign intersection? ...Person behind you is definitely at fault, however, i hate when people do the stop and go special at stop signs...hit on the bumper is waay better than a Tbone.

Ok this is the map of where it happened. We got off the turnpike at 211st/carribbean exit, then follow the red line from there. where it ends is at US1 where there is a stop sign. Kyle stopped b/c that's what your supposed to do, then he was going to go but a person got into the right lane and was going too quick for Kyle to go so Kyle had to stop again, which is when the person behind us hit the car b/c they must have assumed we were just gonna gun it in front of that car.



Pictures of the damage are on Kyle's camera, so will put those up in a little bit... Injuries? Welllll I dunno, my neck does kinda hurt...

 

nah not my car. A chef at my regular spot where i get food asked me where's my lancer, i was like @ my house my friend is driving. He told me he passed by a red evo messed up on the turnpike or something ...
