Does anyone get a loud grinding sound when they are shifting into 4th gear under high load? When i'm driving slowly and shift into 4th.. nothing, no sound, works perfectly, but when i'm driving normally (normal=fast) and i shift into 4th, DAMN GRINDING SOUND!!!! Anyone having that same problem?

Yeah he was a major ***** with us!!! And even the security was surprised when I told him that the cops where there telling us to leave!!!!

 

It only happens to me when I let go of the clutch to fast and not let it engage properly(usually during downshifting) But I haven't had aproblem like that!

What is happening to me and it has happened a couple of times is it will not go into 3rd gear and pop out(it did it with Elemental and his friend in the car at the AutoX! I have to take it for that!!!

Post up!!!!!!

 

No grinding probs here... Make sure that EVERYTIME you shift, the clutch is always all the way in!! Like to the floor!! I shift hard and fast and no probs.. Just move the seat closer to the pedals if you have to, to make sure that your foot hits the floor... Your knee should still be bent when the clutch is all the way in... If the clutch isn't all the way in while your shifting, it'll still go in.. But, you'll tend to wear out the synchro... Be nice to it from now on...

scooter,I got a glimps of your times before i left,but can only remember 2 a 47.something and your third run was a 44.2 so you were improving!!The faster course was deffinatly challanging.Towards the end of the way out i hit around 80 !! So we were going pretty good,which makes thing much harder. But also much funner!!This time gordon got my trophy.So by the end of the season everyone who posts here should have one!!! Had a blast see you all at the next one.

 

That course scared the **** out of me... HOLY KCUFIN TIHS!!!! I actually felt like Han Solo going through the asteroid field. All I could see was cones flying by me. My first two runs were crap I'm glad I was doing better at the end. BTW how did you see my times? Did they post them after I left? PRVRT called me up and told me they lost them. And that I would have to re-run. It was too late I was already halfway to my friend's BarBQ. PS what was your best time ???
