Scooter, You were missed
I brought brownies!!!!
Got back from Gainesville and had lots of fun. I ended up second in my class, thought
The person who one is a 5 or 6 time National Champ and has been driving his car for awhile. Nice guy and very helpful, though.
I also had a co-driver who is a National Champ and had driven a Galant VR-4 nationally. Believe me, the guy is good.
Anyway, he ran the street prepared class (ESP) and dominated the class. The mustangs and camaros were really pissed off that a stock EVO beat them. Oh well.
It was a tight course and we were lifting the wheel at every late corner as well as in the sweeper!!!. It was neat to feel how the diffs work (With 3 wheels on the ground, it really shows you).
The event was at the test track at Gainesville speedway and is not your typical autocross track.
We got alot of practice and notes for what to do to the car to make it go faster (Driving it, not modify it).
Thanks for your support
Chris
Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that a friend of mine bought a STI and modified the intake, exhaust, fuel management and wants to run my modified EVO, I'll keep you posted on the time of the showdown and results.

I trying to fix my EVO, it was'nt running right, I found out the next morning that the hose to my fuel pressure regulator flew off due to the increase in boost, but all is well now and she is running hard like a Haitian from the INS.
