I'm putting the Hotchkis springs on my car tommorow. THey are very similar spring rates to the stock, which I like.

The alignment specs that Scooter has in his car are the same ones that I run, as well as gordon. You want it to rotate in the corners, which it does nicely, eliminating alot of the push up front from the AWD. It takes alittle getting used to, but it's incredibly predictable and easy to manage.

Well, I'm off to Moroso to give the go-kart track a try.

Ride is a bit stiffer than stock... but good. PRVRT & I did the install which took about a day all together. VWRyder also helped out (Tahnks ) We could probably do it in 6-8 hours if you get here early enough (Now that we have done it once). But you will need an alignment right away. I gave the guy down here Chris's specs but I think he changed them slightly to give me more time on the tires. (they wear quickly )

If you DIY it you will need socket set, torque wrench, spring compressors, jack, jackstands, someone to help you, and a lot of patience. (You have none )

Now decide you must which path to take, for if you take the short and easy path to the dark side of the force you will go and all hope will be lost. Of course that might be a better and smarter option for you.

I'll let you know how mine work out. I'm having it done tommorow. The strut machine was having a vacation(Christmas).

Just a simple question. Would Jon tazer the person helping him ?

I realize that my specification for the alignments are a little different than most, but they work. I just got back from Moroso and ran the go kart track. Very fun. A little bit too busy in the back, but that's ok. The Rotax carts are pretty quick with the 125cc engines. I might have to think about getting one of those!!!

Well, got to go.

I ended up using Moroso's rental tonight. I send Rich an e-mail and he sent me Aaron's number. I spoke to him, but he had to miss tonight. I'll get out there with him next time. I just wanted to drive!!!!

As for the alignments, Do you want it for your RX-8? The Evo specs that I have are "Top Secret" , as they took me about 5-6 alignments to get it the way that I like it.

What is the adjustability of the RX-8? Also, have you had it aligned since you bought it? Factory settings SUCK. Let me know and we can go from here.

PS: INVENTORY SUCKS (Unless you own it all )

Coilovers = $1500 minimum
Carbon Fiber Wing = $1300
Expensive Prodrive Wheels = $1000 ???

All in the next 3 months... And you couldn't afford an Evo??? I'm smelling Ghost style bull with his $3000 titanium connecting rods. Not that I'm offended by your choice of car, it is sweet... but I smell a rat... a really stinky dead putrid rat.

It's that wing, creating too much downforce and upsetting the balance of ugly.

I never said i couldn't afford an EVO just that they wouldn't finance it for me in my name....The STI cost more than the EVO...and I can afford it...it's just that the Subaru guys actually helped me out and found a way to get it financed...as far as all this being bull...I said it was a wish list and that I was hoping everything would go well....lol...but if you would like to have a look at my pay stubs to see whether or not i make enough money to buy all this stuff I'd be more than happy to show them to you...though I must warn you people have been known to regret their career decisions when they see my paychecks.....The only reason I'm not getting anything big this month is that I'm still recovering from the $7000 down payment...

PS: A set of 18" Prodrive wheels is some where between $2500 and $3500....which is why i said it might take me two months to make enough for those....
