Hey you crack heads... I can attest to the STI being a good car... From drving mine, and driving his.. They are different but the same... The difference between them is this...

EVO: You can take the EVO into a corner sideways, and the car will drive itself out almost effortless... You can have a nice cup O' Joe when pushing the car....

STI: Will do the same thing, but you gotta DRIVE the car to get it to do what you want.. The Subaru's are MUCH EASIER to launch and toss around..

But the EVO, is just a handling master... So in my book, the EVO is the winner... Besides my schit looks so nasty now!! Wouldn't you all agree?! P.S., the fogging went away right after the Dennys trip.. I guess the spirited driving blew it all out??!!

As for one being better than the other.. If only the Subie was here in the states.. We would all be driving one, just like I was in the past!!

ok, not to throw salt in the wound but, I've driven the EVO and the STI. The STI is a drag monster.

Drag racing is for fast cars, so I guess the STI is a fast car

...But hands down the EVO is a MUCH better car all around. The handling is superior in all aspects and sice AutoX is for fast drivers, I'd rather have it at an AutoX, road event, or daily driver.

Hey PRVRT not going to make the drive w/you guys but would like to meet up later that night. We have friends coming in from Mexico and Liz has school until 5pm Sat. We are going to see some friends in Tampa also so maybe we all can meet up Sat night for a while. See you guys sat night in Tampa. BTW when are you guys driving back? We have to come back Sunday night b/c I have to work Monday.

 

Some of us at least are spending Sunday at Busch gardens and are driving back Monday about 10ish. When you get to tampa just call us, We'll probably be at the hotel chillin by the pool.

 

You can't take a twenty minute drive to homestead but you'll do an hour to go to Moroso?!?! You are such a wuss... All show, no go...

Agreed. I was actually looking at a WRX wagon at the Miami International Auto Show before the Evo came to town. I sat and checked it for leg room (gotta do it when your using a wooden leg... well plastic anyway.) and it actually had the legroom I needed.

But when the Evo came out I jumped at it. After all, why drive second best.
