OK - to answer both questions:
First autocross ever was July 2003 ( exactly a year and a half ago) The Sentra was completely stock. Picked up 2nd place trophy in stock class. I remember there was an Sti there and he was slower.
As far as Evo goes - Evo8U was gracious enough to let me drive his Evo in FL State Championships. As he just said I was a little quicker (about 2 seconds
)and ended up second in class. So that settles that.
That being said - I've been comparing Evo's as an autocross animal. It's a beast. The rush of power in the straights is wicked!
The GSR is quicker than MR in the slalom because of its stiffer suspension. It also seems to accelerate quicker up to 40 mph.
The MR is quicker over 40 mph and out brakes the GSR because of lighter wheels.
Now Dr. MR's set up - MR with TEIN suspension should be a force to recon with once he learns to push the car's limits.

Yes you did beat my time by about 2 seconds but I had a cone...so therefore you only beat my time by "about" after taking out the 2 seconds..
now comparing the mighty EVO to the tiney winey little issan entra..

Second - I love the Evo as much as any of you - but you underestimate the power of dark side of the little Sentra my friend. You might be faster, but watch your back - Nismo is right behind you.
Finally - you know that there is only one way to settle this. We'll post final times when we return.
