If anybody wants to take the initiative go ahead, As PRVRT and I have said in the past Everybody has to pitch in. DR MR and Jonasan have done the reservations in the past but Jonasan is busy with work right now and I have not seen any posts by DR MR in a few days. I'm busy revising the website and am really tired from my three hour round trip to Broward every day. If someone takes the initiative let me know and I'll help cover some of the expense. PRVRT has also volunteered to pitch in some cash. And as anyone who has been to a previous picnic can tell you everytime PRVRT shows up, Blue's trunk is FULL of food, snacks, plates, plasticware etc. So let's follow his example and pitch in!!

I called CB Smith Park. They have no pavilions free on the 21st. I then called Markam park and they had 1 shelter left so I begged the guy and he reserved it for me. I will be taking the money tomorrow to the Markam office.

Markam Park - Shelter 5... There is a $1.00 (per person) entry fee to get into the park. There is also a BBQ grill at the shelter where the grilling will take place.

The Shelter is the largest there (It was the last one) so go ahead and invite whomever you want. The shelter will hold 80 I think I heard.

At this point I really don't care much about the donations. My issue was that I'm getting this done today because nobody in Broward took the initiative. I know we are all busy... but that includes me too. I actually need to take time off from work to get this done. I'm already driving more than 3 hours a day through rush hour traffic. I get to work before the park opens and leave work 1/2 hour before the park closes (not enough time to get through rush hour traffic to the park). I tried CB smith and they were full, so I had to go with Markam which had only 1 shelter left. The largest one which we really don't need.

This post was from December 11th when we were trying to arrange the Picnic. I don't really care who's turn it was but somebody should have done this well before now. So am I going to have another day like my last autocross where everything gets dumped on me and I got totally screwed??? Maybe I won't want to be a part of TEMEVO anymore....
