Please let me remind everybody that this is a family day picnic. I don't want to rain on anybody's parade nor do I want to impose my values on anybody but this is not a drinking contest. I see a lot of beer and no real food. This is a chance for Evo Owners to show their significant others and friends that we are not a bunch of Ricer Maniacs. Plus I am not going to feed 35 people all by myself. Just a little food for thought here.

Entry fee -- $1 per person to get in Park (Keeps out the ricers... ehhhh...riff raff)
Capacity -- 80 People with AMPLE PARKING
There are electric and water hookups if anyone wants to bring a radio or slip and slide. There is a grill.

Directions

From Miami via I-75

I-75 North to Exit 15.
Follow Exit ramp to first light (Weston Road).
Turn right (North) and follow road straight into park.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From anywhere using Turnpike or I-95

Get to I-595 and go West.
Get off at exit 1A (136 Ave.) .
Exit onto State Road 84 West.
Go to 2nd light (Weston Road) and turn right.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From Sawgrass Expresssway (for our WP Beachers)

Exit Sunrise Blvd East
Take Sunrise Blvd to 136 Ave
Turn right to SR 84 West
Turn right at the next light (Weston Road)
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From I-75 west or US27 West (for those who live in the boonies)

Exit #22 (Glades Parkway)
This will put you on SR84 East
Go straight till you get to Weston Road then turn left.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

Getting the Mapquest link to work... didn't. Don't trust the driving directions given by Mapquest anyway. They are screwed up.

I agree! I was just about to post!! How about instead of beer(or limit the amount you are brining) bring chips or some other food becasue I don't want any DUIs either after the picnic!

My boyfriend made a good note that it doesn't look like we'll have anywhere to put the drinks to keep them cool. He has four big coolers that we can bring with us and some more ice as well. Would you like us to do so? We can also toss some of hte food that needs to be kept cold in one of them, or anything like mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc.
