Went to publix today and ordered the sandwich rings. 1 turkey and 1 ham (they each feed 10 people), and also a pan of black beans and rice. Already got the napkins. Coolers are set, and will pick up ice the morning of. I think Im ready for this!! Oh and we'll bring a soccer ball too! Oh and maybe some dessert.



I like picnics.. could you tell?

Im bringing one of those huge buckets for all the booze, beer, soda, water. So we'll only need the coolers for the burgers and meats and stuff. I just hope im gonna have enough room in my car. When I say huge buckets...........I MEAN HUUUUGGE. Its like 2.5 feet tall and 3 foot radius.

i'm getting excited 2 and will be picking up my things tomorrow morning, Agi is also bringing a cooler w gatorade and water. Oh and the S2k is getting a makeover already hopefully is ready by 11 tomorrow.

oh I got a soccer ball yest 2 it's bright green (only one they had with air hehe)

Markham Park - Shelter #5 (The Large one)
Entry fee -- $1 per person to get in Park (Keeps out the ricers... ehhhh...riff raff)
Capacity -- 80 People with AMPLE PARKING
There are electric and water hookups if anyone wants to bring a radio or slip and slide. There is a grill.

Directions

From Miami via I-75

I-75 North to Exit 15.
Follow Exit ramp to first light (Weston Road).
Turn right (North) and follow road straight into park.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From anywhere using Turnpike or I-95

Get to I-595 and go West.
Get off at exit 1A (136 Ave.) .
Exit onto State Road 84 West.
Go to 2nd light (Weston Road) and turn right.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From Sawgrass Expresssway (for our WP Beachers)

Exit Sunrise Blvd East
Take Sunrise Blvd to 136 Ave
Turn right to SR 84 West
Turn right at the next light (Weston Road)
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

From I-75 west or US27 West (for those who live in the boonies)

Exit #22 (Glades Parkway)
This will put you on SR84 East
Go straight till you get to Weston Road then turn left.
You are now in the park, Pay the attendant.

Getting the Mapquest link to work... didn't. Don't trust the driving directions given by Mapquest anyway. They are screwed up.

Dude, leave room for yourself in the car... too bad you don't have a hatchback. Lot's of stuff will fit in a hatchback. Especially when you fold the seats down.
