I already talked to you about the clutch install over PM. I am in Hickory NC, about 1.5 hours east of Asheville. My buddy and I do the clutch installs on his lift. He is a Mercedes ASE Certified Mechanic, I am just a lowly Mechanical Engineer who tinkers on cars.

Yes I fine tuned my car for 100 octane with the Super AFC2. I have a Dynoflash ECU flash for a good baseline timing and fuel map on 93 octane.

BTW, we just installed HKS 272 Intake/264 Exhaust cames on a local Evo yesterday. I tuned his car after installing the cams. I have a laptop and RPM inductive clamp to datalog A/F versus RPM. We dialed in his AFC settings after his tune. He has a mail in Dynoflash tune, but he had added a tubular header, Greddy FMIC, and Cams since he was flashed.

I cant reflash the cars. I dont have the flashing equipment, that is high dollar stuff. I can tune an AFC2 or equivalent very well on the wideband though. You would need some sort of fuel controller for me to be able to tune your car. Sorry about that. We can install an AFC2 for you, if you buy the AFC2 and a plug n play harness. You can remove the plug n play harness and AFC2 if you need to go in for warranty work.

I think you can get them for $275, or something like that from a few vendors. The harness is about $110.

The AFC2 works perfectly on top of a dynoflash tune. The Dynoflash has a very good timing map and the fuel can be fine tuned to whatever you like to set it for, depending on your fuel.

Yo, Ronin where about are you from in Asheville? I grew up there, went to TC. I actually lived off of Bradley Branch Road growing up. I might look you up next time we come up there to see my mom. Actually if my wife and daughter (whenever she decides mommy's tummy is too small to stay in anymore) might be coming up that way for a family reunion up off of Tunnel Road. I'll catch ya later though!!! Sorry not to hijack the post! Congrats on the EVO man!
