I could hear it going from 4rd gear, real high RPM, quick shift, then 5th, then 6th.

it'll only pull by a door length. I'm on my 4th gear, since we're slowing down, then would take forever to get to boost or the redline.

By the time the G35 TT shifted 3 times, I would still be in my 4th gear, almost to the redline.

But when I was racing him on my 3rd gear, I would pull on him, by a door and a half length.

Then again, I do that for entertainment purposes. There's no reward of doing a roll on a highway or merit.

That just means, any EVo could win a drag race against it, due to the AWD launch and etc.

I would say stock Evo could beat a G35 TT from a stop, from an experience.

By the way, STock Evo's faster 0-110 then G35 TT.

But 60 to 140 is a different story.
You fail to mention that I had a 180lb passenger.. two drag slicks on wheels in the trunk, floor jack and tools in the back. We were supposed to go to the track that day but it was rained out.

Please bring video when its a fair race. Plok, those were good runs though and I was very suprised.. you have a fast car.

On the shifting, I was actually starting out in second at about 6k rpms, shift to 3rd then 4th.. I never hit 5th or 6th gear.

in a real race.. I'm at 80mph by third.. 120mph by fourth so there wont be too much shifting if we're on the interstate.

either way, i don't care. Highway rolls have no merit in my books. It's for highschool kids who can't afford to race at the real track.

I totally agree, street racing is losing its appeal to me.. I think I'd rather keep it on the track, especially since we passed two shariffs when we were racing. Are you coming to the track friday? I should be there if the weather is good.

is this the same tonio that i raced?

hey, yeh, i was suprised too. G35 is completely different from a supercharged 350z's.

I think i already know what you'll run at the track from a stop. would like to be suprised though.

I though C took some vid, and you obvious got beaten by C's car. But this friday we're going to the Atlanta Drag Way.

Come by and we'll race, officially.

By the way, i had about 200 lbs worth of tools in my trunks as well. And a lawn chair.

no wonder you took off. 2nd gear? I was in 4th! lol

its so funny how people always have mad **** in their car when they run each other. But anyway like i am thinking, how about a setup race and lets see you (tony) run a evo. I will have someone come out sunday and you run them. Their car wont be like mine it will probably just have cams intake and exhaust and you run them. then all the fuss can be stopped.

read: we had gone to the track but it got rained out..the runs we did were on the way back from the track. Why else would I have slicks, floor jack, and tools in the trunk?

The fact still remains that even with all of that and a passenger I still pulled.

As for sunday, I'll run but it wont be on Clark Howell.. it will be on the interstate if anything. Why talk sh*t for someone else anyway? Bring your evo out there and you'll get a REAL good idea of how my car compares.

Well best I could run was 12.9 last night at commerce. Plok and ct9a ran consistently faster times than me all night.

I'm a little dissapointed cause I was expecting low 12's but oh well.. anyone wanna race??? lol j/k
