Heh, I drive by that evo everyday on the way to work. That's (I believe) Todd's evo and he works/owns Ride of daytona. I wonder why he's selling it.

Did anyone see the Ride EVO MR in Grassroots Motorsports this month? If so, what kind of bumper is on the front of the car?

Is that the one that got beat by Todd Mahoney on street tires, slipping clutch and stock turbo at the autocross?

Could be... It wasn't that much faster than the other two EVOsthey tested. About two seconds up on the stock and one second up on the slightly modded EVO.

Mild car was on old A032r, H compound. The ride cars had brand new Hoosiers, auto-x compound. Did anybody see the cars being tuned at Aerocomp? Numbers sound good.

Newbie to EVO..old DSMer

Greetings all...finally took the plunge and bought an EVO..in fact, Todd of RIDE's modded 2003 with the ASM work on it. Hopefully it's not the one that was beat by the streetshod EVO mentioned in your other posts. I opted out of the 19" rims and went with his stock ENKEI's for now,...I'm not much of a blingbling guy and like the more compliant ride the 17's give. Will shoe her with 245/45's, MX's.

I had known of Todd from his DMS Rolex 24hr days re: my SCCA past.

Will be flying down 10/25 to Daytona Beach to drive her back to western NC..seems like a well thought out car for my purpose, streeter use, and will make my 95 GSX feel young again sitting next to her in the garage hopefully. Will also leave the 700 series injectors in her since the 880's always seem to have rich hiccups on the street.

I'll give you my impression when I get my hands on her little stroked butt !!

Cheers,

The GSX has been my plaything for a while now..DSMlink, T3-T04E .50 trim .63 A/R, FMIC, TRE trans...runs 24psi on the street and suspension done per my old SCCA class spec's. Daily driver with A/C intact and just put back the cat since inspection has gotten a bit tighter lately.

Heh, when I drove by ride today I saw the car out front and I was wondering why it had the stockers back on. Congrats I guess
