Between huricane Katrina and Rita and whatever other smaller weather systems you guys in the south have had I'm just curious...what condition is south florida in? I've been wanting to come down for a vacation w/ my GF for a while now....

We're looking at staying in the greater Miami area and visiting southbeach and maybe the Keys....any advice guys?

Sarasota and West Palm Beach are fine.

I was in Key West about 6 weeks ago and it was fine at the time, but ofcourse that was before Rita.

 

Any idea about Miami beach and South beach? Those are my real intrests.

 

Everything's just dandy

Neither Katrina (cat 1 when it hit, no biggie) nor Rita (it rained, that was it. I was out all day ) did any lasting damage to Miami.

I just came back from vacationing in Toronto

i live about 1 mile east of southbeach. i was in the eye of katrina and we lost power for a few days (old neighborhood). that was weeks ago and everything is fine. the keys should be back up to snuff by this weekend. they go through this stuff all the time =) if ur gonna be in town, hit me up!

 

I actually went to Ottawa, but spent a weekend in Toronto. Hot asian girls EVERYWHERE. I was in HEAVEN

I went to high school in Ottawa, so knew lots of people

Hope you like Miami as much as i've enjoyed the GTA
