they sell blue 100LL AVGAS. Was actually surprized that they could sell it, as it's illegal to be able to put a leaded pump into an unleaded fuel tank. Granted, the little sticker says it's only for aircraft engines, or race purposes.
100LL has about 2 grams of lead (max) per gallon.
Problem is, the evo really doesn't like it too much (aircraft engines run a set timing, and the advance we run with the evo doesn't get any love, the gas is made to burn slower.) , and i've found it's really no better for mid-rev high load, than regular 93.
Unless i can find regular unleaded, or something else, i might up to the 112 leaded next time at sebring, it's a tough call.
any other local spots would be appreciated

what is the best racing gas to have available at a service station? Next time we have a station in for site plan review I'll try to get them to hook it up.Originally Posted by TheGVR4kid

The problem with vp and all that, no matter the cost of gas, it's like 6 and 7 a gallon.
I pay like 6 a gallon AT sebring, and even VP said "sure, you can come fill up your own jugs, but it's 8 a gallon for streetblaze (103?).
Thats nuts!
the 4.26 for avgas is about the going rate nowadays with the hiked gas prices, but i can get that locally, but it's no good.
I'd want anything from 100-104 no lead.
