Dude, That's about 1hr from where I live. I know, I moved here almost 4 years ago and I'm fairly well travelled in the U.S. (it was my 6th move in 2 yrs. . . .) Everyone *****es about Los Angeles being so bad (in some parts, the traffic ya), then I had lived in Phoenix, where they just haul a$$ on the highways and drive like jerks, but they SIGNAL! (yeah!). I thought it was worse than Los Angeles. I also lived in Cincinnati for awhile - that's mostly city driving. I found it very violent, as one guy almost jumped out of his car to beat me up, and one car full of doods pulled a gun on me. But they drive allright there. FLORIDA, on the other hand. . . You can't blame it ALL on the old people (although it's a valid point, yes) There's also this thing here where all the natives think they Frickin' NASCAR drivers. New and used cars don't come with turn signals here, apparently, either. I'd never seen someone back off a freeway onramp till I moved here. My first month here, driving home during lunch, I literally had to come to a COMPLETE stop, so some idiot passing a garbage truck wouldn't have a front end collision with me. I was driving a lifted tacoma, not hard to see. My wife delivers carparts for carquest, you wouldn't believe the crap we've seen here. She's never lived anywhere else, so she doesn't know what it's like to have people be considerate, or signal, that type of driving. When we went to Vegas last summer to get married she was like, "wow, baby, look every car in this lane has their turn signal on!" I still want to get a paintball gun maounted under the hood of my Tacoma...... but I don't think the authorities would like it tooo much.
