I am talking with Jestrtuning about possible coming up to this dyno to do some custom tuning. His custom tunes with 4 or 5 people would be $350. He will either do road tunes or dyno tunes. The dyno tune you pay for the dyno time. I think I know 1 or 2 people that are already intersted in this, so if we can get some more people interested we could get him up here too. Check out www.jestrtuning.com for more info on his flashes. Right now he is only flashing Evo 8's.

For those interested, there are a few AWD dynos spread out across the state. Theres one in moorseville, the shop is called Taylor's imports. There is one in charlotte, i forgot the shop, and theres one in Cary with unlimited Automotive. Those are all the ones I know of so far?

 

Yah i would most definatly be down for that.. The only thing is thought weve ben gettin dicked around about when al is comin to flash our cars and i would really like to get that out of the way before i hit the dyno.

 

^He does that, NC apparently doesn't exist for the guy. I would reccomend going to JESTR or somewhere else. He'll prolly do what he did last time and just not respond. Then you'll see a thread a week later about how happy the customers from the other dyno day were.

 

Im down in clemson, but if it was a good deal I would make it just to hang out for the day.

SO I guess they Flash ECU's like Dynoflash (AL) does?A decent safe tune is what I'm after...not ***** out Blow your motor fast.

If so I'll wait and get that done @ the DYno meet if this is going down...otherwise I just want some dyno time period.

Jestrtuning has very good reputation for tuning in the Southeast. He doesnt fly out to many places to tune, just local stuff and does alot of mail in tunes through one of the vendors on the forums. He tunes very safe as well. I have 1 fully confirmed guy that wants the Jestr flash as soon as we can get him up here and another that is fairly certain. We need to get about 3 more confirmed custom tunes and I think we can get him up here.

The earliest dates he has available are March 18th or April 8th.

To secure a spot once a date is confirmed he requires a $100 deposit.

Who is ready to step up for this? We will have the meet, dyno. and flash day all on the same day. It looks like it will be one of the dates above. Whos in for the flashes?

I am 84% down on the Flash from them & 100% down on the dyno meet (hopefully not the 1 saturday a mth I work)...not sure how many flashes he's done..as well as the Service support if something goes wrong by some slim chance.
I've seen more about AL (dynoflash) of course and That is pretty much all "he" does so it sounds better/feels safer to me "the Consumer"...but I'm down to be enlightened @ what They can do as far as flashes go.

 

You can go to his website www.jestrtuning.com and ask him any questions you like. He is also available on AOL messenger also. If you search for Jestr in the forums you will find alot of people that have his flashes. Not as many as Dynoflash though. I can tell you that you will not be unsatisfied with his customer service.... I cant say that about other tuner(s)...
