Thinking about taking a vacation to NC and was wondering 1) whats a nice area and 2) is there nightlife. Any info would be great, thanks.

 

1) Depends on the area you want to vacation to, there is mountains, big downtown with lots of bars and stuff, and theres the beach.
2) Downtown Charlotte has a great nightlife, lots of clubs and bars to go to; beaches have small bars that are still pretty fun, dont know much about nightlife in the mountains though

Definetly helps, thanks. Most likely would like to be on the Beach, nightlife isnt that important. So know of any real nice hotels.. I actually plan on proposing to my GF.

Deal's Gap is on the Tenn/N.C. border, there is not a better place to take the EVO period! 318 curves in an 11 mile stretch of mountainous hwy, do a google search, there is plenty of info on it. Killboy is a member on this board who works and plays there often.

 

haha propose on the top of the overlook at deals gap after you tear through deals gap nearly scaring the crap out of your future wife..


but wilmington has nightlife as far as nc beaches.... but wrightsville is better as far as scenery

 

Not in NC but Disney's Hilton head island resort in SC is really nice spot for proposals...
