my weekend started out wonderful! ........not.....

What is that and what happened? Rocker?

 

Wow, you just bought that car, didn't you?

 

That is a rocker from a LS2 engine. Yeah bought the car back in FEB, and installed the heads and rockers in mid March. These are possibly the first set of Yella Terra Ultra Lites to ever fail, according to everyone on ls1gto and ls1tech.

 

Wow. That's some junk there, Wil.

 

Good news tho. Yella Terra offered to replace the entire set of rockers for free if I ship them to them. And Vengeance is trying to get me a new pushrod. So all Im going to be out is the oil change and my time. (and a lil shipping)

 

Yeah that is good news. I kinda hoped they'd stand by their product since they said it was virtually indestructible. Leave it to a former EVO owner to show them the meaning of 'indestructible!'

Thanks for the welcome. I'm deployed right now, should be home in October. My wife is currently on an airplane right now flying to kentucky to pick up the X. This will be our second X. The first we bought from carmax in charlotte, NC, then latter returned to carmax in columbia due to tranny issues before I deployed. We are pretty stoked getting the new one, we were miserable about returning the last one. We sold our VIII the day after we brought the X home then three days later returned the X which equaled no EVO and my wife driving my Denali the whole time I've been gone. I can't wait to get home.
