NO! That stuff is junk. If anything, find an actual auto paint supply store, have them mix you some clear and put it in a spray balm. Or find a body shop to clear it.

I have had several people use the rattle can spray and you can tell it. It does not lay down correctly and will eventually either come off or discolor.

Steve, you should have let me know you were gonna do it. I would have liked to see the process, help you out or whatever.

I'd probably see about finding a body shop. That is if I couldn't find the right clear or get someone to mix up some for me.

I have just started sanding so far. The sanding is probally going to take me two weeks by doing a little bit each day after work.

Yeah I know it's a painstaking process. Are you going to take it to body shop to get cleared?

Unfortunately, I don't know of any tuners in the above mentioned areas. But, if you're willing to drive down to Charleston, Colin @ the Showzone will take of you. He's been great for my Evo.

I actually don't have a problem going to Charleston, but it is just as far as Atlanta for me. I bought my car at Rick Case in Roswell, Georgia I guess 8 months ago. The sales manager of the dealership (Jonas) who has a badass Evo, he told me that the guy who previously owned my car had a speed shop in Atlanta (didn't specify what shop). So the car got stripped down before i bought it and some aftermarket parts still exist, I have no idea of the internals or whats been done to the ECU. According to the Defi boost gauge the car boost around 27psi. So it will go, just when I stop at a light sometimes it wants to idle down to 500rpm and then the oil pressure gets low and you hear some knock....and it dosen't have a VTA, so that's not the prob

You must of bought Bruces car from dyno4mance.com . They are a great shop to go to but about 5 hours from where you are.

Yeah that's it Bruce. I remember Jonas said his name b4, but I couldn't remember it. I think Calhoun is only like 4 hours from Greenwood. Thanks for the pointing that out, now I can ask him what all has been done, and maybe a tune

Welcome to the boards! It's a good thing you found a little history on the vehicle. Maybe you can get more info as to what was done or what is needed. Good luck.
