Sounds good. Steveosevo and I were discussing maybe getting on the road from here by 9:30-10, putting us up there about 11ish or so. I don't know where the Kart place is so I wanted to get there early, plus maybe stop at the BP station at exit 85 to refuel on the corn myself. So I guess that would be a good place for us to meet up.

I did a quick mapquest I think it takes longer than an hour to make it. Have you made that drive before?

 

Mapquest says 2 hrs from Union, and this is what I have to say to it When I was going to school up there, my roomate and I would effortlessly, make it in an hr and twenty minutes.

Nah, I over reacted to the piston clearences. I shouldnt have, I have known that forged aluminum pistons have more side clearance than standard pistons. But I guess after a long day at work, followed by a long night with a few drinks kinda let me forget. All the video's of the car on IA.com are from a few weeks ago, after I put it up for sale. Im just tired of the platform right now. That and I have gotten this GTO at a steal of a price.

 

What to Charlotte or the Kart place? To Exit 85 it's 45 minutes at best...that's 80-90 mph in stretches. Nothing break neck. Though I have made it to that very exit before in 30 minutes flat.

 

That'll be good. If you're there to fill up we can follow you to the place. Otherwise, we'll have to follow Mapquest's iffy directions. So far there's been no word on if anyone else will be coming up with us.

 

I would hope so. I know that it's gonna be a meet of all types of cars, but the EVOs should park together. Which way are you gonna take? Back roads or interstate?

 

I would prefer to get the Evos together for pictures.
