BPR8ES's 0.020-0.018 should work for you.

I have gone through 11ty-billion different combo's with my car and plugs, I might have some useful information or direction to be able to give to you. (FYI, I am on E85 too, and have been for well over a year now.)

Carlos, you should be able to find those NGK plugs at your local Advance, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, or anywhere else that sells auto parts. I buy mine for about 12 bucks for a whole box.

How long was the wait for the Red? Your motor put together yet?
I think I was on the list for about a month. No. The motor is still mostly in small boxes. The block is being prepped as we speak. The head should be shipped at the end of the week. The turbo should arrive any day. Hopefully we'll have it all back together in the next couple of weeks. Then I'll drive it up to Wakeman with 10 gallons of local E85 and let David have at it.

The accumulated pile of parts has grown to the following:

-Balanced bottom end- JE pistons, Manley rods, BR balance shaft delete kit
-BR stage III head w BF 272 cams
-Fp Red w ported hotside
-BR ported stock exhaust mani
-Ebay O2 housing
-BR ported intake mani w 65mm TB
-BR UICP & LICP
-BR race FMIC
-BR double pumper
-1000cc injectors
-BR mini battery kit
-BR 3" turboback exhaust w test pipe and bullet muffler
-Devo Tuning 2 piece aluminum driveshaft
-Exedy Twin HD clutch
-BR solid front & rear motor mounts
-AEM standalone w speed density.
-and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.

Everything else is stock. The suspension is completely OEM. I'm shooting for a 30psi tune on 93 octane and whatever the turbo can handle w the E85. I'm pretty certain we'll have a 10 sscond 1/4 mile daily driver on pump gas. That's all I want. Is that really too much to ask?

It should make for an interesting ride, no?

Hopefully, my Red will be in by the time you want to head up there. I figure I'll go with you. I'm looking at trailering my car though. I'll have to see. I'm not sure I want to drive to Ohio twice in 3 or 4 months. I'm looking at sourcing a Stg 3 head now. I may send the car back up there before the Shoot Out for the short block. I'm not sure drop-ins are the way to go at this point. But if anybody can get them to work, it's Buschur Racing. Your episode has really made me think about beefing up the motor.

I just ordered a set of Swift Spec R springs. My Hotchkis springs are for sale. If anybody's interested, let me know.

Got my 91 Galant VR-4 wheels on the Mirage yesterday, washed her up, got her shinning. Today, the f'in radiator starts leaking like a biotch on me on the way to work

Called 50 billion places to find a radiator, and I'm gonna have to go with local Advance Auto Just to get a quick fix to drive it to Mooresville this weekend.
Part should be in Friday morning, gonna jump on that right quick.

On another note, my 5Zigens came today!!! So those will be installed tomorrow morning first thing I'm hoping that they are wrong on the weather forecast and it doesn't rain.

Lecon, me and dad are probably gonna leave the house around 8:45 Saturday morning and try to be up there at the BP station on Exit 85 before 10:15. Do you turn left or right after the exit to get there?

Sounds good Scott. Post some pics of those wheels when you get 'em on. As far as the direction off the exit, if you're going 77 N I think it's left.

Steve and I broke out the "big guns" last night and tested them out at a fire hydrant sculpture in downtown Columbia. Some of the shots were amazing. Obviously, we're amatuers and have a lot to learn about these cameras. But all in all we got some decent shots. As soon as I get them loaded to my laptop, I'll post them up.
