I did one there 2 years ago now I think. At the convention center parking lot right? That one was a pretty good course. I think I placed 4th in that particular event...don't remember. But yeah, if I don't make the Michelin one, that one I'll definitely make. Besides, they're doing the Michelin course again later this year I think.

completely guy it. no carpet/dash, backseats, no a/c system, as much light weight as possible.

and then drive the stew outa it. a lil track duty with alot of street. I will def do a different setup than the stroker this time. 2.1 is a possibility or a built 2.0. I want RPM's and ALOT of PSI. in the 35-40 range.

Planning on driving it on the street too??? That's some door knockers there! Yeah a built 2.0 sounds good. Maybe a 6262 on it?

Wow. That's later than normal too. Looks like every Wed. & Sat. They used to start as early as 5. I will tell you now, expect long lines in the staging area. My advice to anyone that's going to head out there is make sure you get there early. You may get a couple runs in before it gets too crowded.

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this one.

Alright, I drove the Evo yesterday because it was nice, and the Mirage was under the knife gettin a small 16g put on it.

Anywho, I pulled in to get some gas at the gas station, and some dude walks up and is starin, extremely hard. Well I get out of the car, and this is what he says, "Is it a real one, or is it made to look like one?"

First thought in my mind was , "No duh dumba**." Lol. I wasn't gonna be a dick, but if that guy wanted to start out by saying that, I was one, .

I replied with, "You see the Brembos all around don't you?"

He stated that he wasn't sure, that some people make them to look like Evo's blah blah blah. The guy was alright after that, and was a pretty cool guy, but didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I started naming off parts that I had/am getting to go on it

This was the funny part... later he stated that his dream car was an Evo.

Alright, now correct me if I'm wrong but, if anything was your dream car, wouldn't you be able to spot a faker a mile away?!!?

Sorry thought I'd share what gave me a little chuckle yesterday

Nice story, Scott. Funny.

Your right, you should be able to spot a car you like a mile away. And be able to spot a fake one!

EVOs have been in the US for what, 6 years???
