Lol, I thought anyone could pick out a Lancer made to look like an Evo vs. a real Evo. Thought wrong I guess, lol.

Well we did must have been about 10 or 11 last night. They lasted a couple hours then blew out. Bright and sunny today! 
Two days of having my EVO out in the rain wasn't going to cut it!

Since the next MB event is not gonna be til Oct. or Dec.
They may have a local autoX but idk as of now..

Good choice, Jamie. Yeah, it's looking like May for me as well. I got my IAC last Saturday, so I need to test it out to make sure my idle is back to normal. So far it seems fine though.
so you did end up having to replace it? You never let me know to see if I could have gotten it covered for ya
You know what you're right! I'm still under warranty! But seriously, it just started acting up again a couple weeks back. The idle jumped up to about 3k. Not as high as it did last summer though. I sourced one from a guy on the boards for 70 bucks so it was a cheap alternative. I'll see if it holds up. If I have problems again, I'll let you know. I figured to pull it off and try another one just to see. My warranty is 4 years 50K, or something like that, bumper to bumper, and of course the standard powertrain. Whatever Mitsu was running at the time back in '05. I'm at 42K now...

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this one.
Alright, I drove the Evo yesterday because it was nice, and the Mirage was under the knife gettin a small 16g put on it.
Anywho, I pulled in to get some gas at the gas station, and some dude walks up and is starin, extremely hard. Well I get out of the car, and this is what he says, "Is it a real one, or is it made to look like one?"
First thought in my mind was , "No duh dumba**." Lol. I wasn't gonna be a dick, but if that guy wanted to start out by saying that, I was one,.
I replied with, "You see the Brembos all around don't you?"
He stated that he wasn't sure, that some people make them to look like Evo's blah blah blah. The guy was alright after that, and was a pretty cool guy, but didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I started naming off parts that I had/am getting to go on it
This was the funny part... later he stated that his dream car was an Evo.
Alright, now correct me if I'm wrong but, if anything was your dream car, wouldn't you be able to spot a faker a mile away?!!?

Had a pretty sweet meet up in Raleigh today...ended up with 20 Evos, 97 GST, 450whp turbo Integra, pretty bad*ss Acura TL Type S...around 25 cars total...great time...ill try and post a couple pics from it later...too bad we were never able to get meet together like this in South Carolina...

ok the car will sit and idle and heat up but when the car gets warm and i drive it the fuse goes. Ok i thought it was the pump but i unhookd the harness to the pump and the damn car is blowin the fuse as soon as i stick it in. Any thoughts? comments? anything would help
something is causing the resistance to change rapidly, a short in the circuit. I would say get an ohm meter and start at the front of the car at the fuse box and start tests and work your way back to the pump.
