LOL!^^^ True EVO diehard there! I had to start changing my plugs at almost every oil change once I started using E85. I'm going to see how long these Iridiums last running on the likker now. Just took my car out for a spin. I'm about to check it again for any oil leakage. At start up there was none! First initial impressions of the Red...<blah> then again I was driving on the side street outside my neighborhood. I'ts been over a month since I've driven my car. I missed it. However, I did seem to notice increased throttle response, or dare I say spool up?? I coulda been imagining things. Like I said, it's been awhile since I've driven the car.

I'm up for that, how about the last week of July, lets say Myrtle Beach??? As I will already be down there, lmao.
Have you been able to get the car back on the road? Drive it a little more?

Ain't it grand? I love 'em. But after my ordeal with the oil leakage, I don't even feel like putting on my new brake pads, lines, & flushing the system.

As soon as my amex goes to the next billing cycle on Tuesday I'm gonna call Mike @ AWD and see what he says and then go ahead and order the v1 02 dump.. lol
he has both in stock as of yesterday.
If it doesn't fit I'll just get the V2 and sell the V1..

Only thing I'm worried about is the KOYO radiator..
It's alot fatter than the oem one.

Lecon,
you really need to get that RED tuned.
it was like night and day compared to my Green.
Car is so fast now, it's actually a little scary..
Charlie said it pulled harder than his car with the JM fab IM and Buschur Head with the Full BBK turbo, S2's (I have S1's)and real aggressive tune.
All other mods are the same on his and mine..

Him saying that, is saying alot..
It's gotta be close to 500/500, since I was at 440 something on Green and Meth

Jake,

Oh yeah, bro, I know. I've got an email into DB now so maybe after the holiday, I'll get a good 3K-8K pull for him to do a couple tweaks! Probably won't be as good as it'll be once I drop the car off up there for the bottom end job, but good enough to last until then. The logs I pulled for the drive around the block still showed no knock, etc., so that's good.

BTW, did you notice anything as far as throttle response goes? I coulda sworn my throttle response is a little better...

Nice...dude I'm sure you could ask Mike @ AWD and he would know if the V1 works with the Nisei LICP...which I'm pretty sure it would...the 02 dump is a little bit of a ***** to put on...i suggest pulling the radiator and turbo out...i think thats the easiest way...I don't think there should be a problem with it fitting with the Koyo radiator either...maybe just throw some heat wrap on the dump tube...

With the RED only, not really that I noticed.
I did the Buschur ported IM and 65mm TB too, so any better response, I chalk up to that.
I did lose about 400-500 rpm in spool compared to the Green, but when it spools, hold on.. It hits hard.

BJ,
I'm ordering the v1 dump tomorrow, any idea who could help me put it on around here..
You and JP maybe,lol.. happy to pay for labor..
I know it's a pita to put the 02 dump in.
I'm sure i could do it alone, but would rather not, especially if I have to drop the turbo.
Radiator's no biggy, but turbo is a whole other ordeal.

Yea dude, got it back on the road yesterday and drove it to church. Had a "run in" with someone on the way home, blew a coolant hose, Shut car off, sat on side of road in the rain for almost an hr waitin to get pulled home. Found the hose that was split straight in half. Fixed, gonna take it out again sometime, lol.

Hollar at me to get more details on that story, lol.

Better here than strapped to the dyno in NC.

You finally got the gaskets on and no leaks?? Feels better with the Red?

I'm running an AEM, so if I need tweaks done David Buschur can send me adjustments via email. ECUFlash can do the same. Most people do the initial tune in person with someone, then if something is needed you always have that option to getting an update to your tune via email.
