BJ,
I'm ordering the v1 dump tomorrow, any idea who could help me put it on around here..
You and JP maybe,lol.. happy to pay for labor..
I know it's a pita to put the 02 dump in.
I'm sure i could do it alone, but would rather not, especially if I have to drop the turbo.
Radiator's no biggy, but turbo is a whole other ordeal.
I think I've learned every trick in the book to dropping the turbo since I had to 3 different times last week! If only you weren't almost 3 hours away, I'd help you out. Not unless you want to make a drive this way, that is if you can't get anybody to help you out.

Yea, it's a real pita to drop the turbo.
Thx Lecon, I haven't been to columbia in forever.
I'll keep that in mind.
I usually come up for the USC vs/Clemson or Florida or Tennesee game.

it isnt that bad. I usually average about 45 mins or less on pulling one.

and if it was my car or a close buddy's, i usually dont even have to pull the radiator unless it is a koyo

After last week, I got my time down to 45 mins too! That's without dropping the radiator either. It's not that bad, but it's nerve-racking when you have to do it repeatedly....

But while its down i touched up the wheels, painted the calipers which turned out great

Before i start driving it im gonna get my exhuast mani hot coated and get the valve cover powder coated candy apple red and i may remove all the power steering and ac lines tuck all wires and move the battery to the trunk

Cool. I need to do my valve cover in black myself. One of the things that's in the back of my mind.

i just remembered brandon. if you remove the power steering, you are going to have to think of something to keep fluid in the rack, so it doesnt lock up.

Ok, just to throw out a date.... 6/20? That's about a month away, gives people time to plan, etc. Meet here in Columbia, smack dab in the middle of the state. Meet up early afternoon, hang out, man I'll even break out the grill at the crib. At 7 pm that night Test & Tune is going on at Darlington Dragway which is about 30-45 mins from Columbia. Anybody can run the 1/4 if they want....just thoughts...let's discuss.

Good looking out Jake! Nah, I don't mind grilling. Hopefully ol' Agent Lowe can swing up and lend a hand on the grill. We all grilled out at an autocross a couple years back...good times.

Anyway, other things to do as well: photoshoot at Lake Murray. A great backdrop for pics...actually grills are out there, tables, etc., so all that can happen at one location. Later that night, maybe after Darlington, there's a spot where all of the local "tuner cars? ) hang out in Irmo. Also, the nightlife downtown Columbia is open too...

Will do. If there's any interest then maybe I can come up with an ideal meeting place, accounting for where people would be rolling in from.
