-1 pm(ish) Meet up @ I-20 Exit 80, Clemson Rd., 76 Gas station---if coming from Charleston, take I77 N. to I20 E. If coming from the Beach (Most people take the interstate, I always take the back road 378 so....) take I95 S to I20 W. Upstate would either be I126 E to I20 E, or I77 S to I20 E.

**I figure this is the most central location for those that said they'd come from out of town and where they're coming from. All of you local guys, I hope you don't mind driving a bit if you happen to be across town or something. It just seemed like a good point where all the interstates converge. If you need to fill up again you can. Us E users, there's another place we can go after if you should need some.

1sh - 4--get everybody together, travel to my house to wash/clean off your cars. I can provide the water, (FREE!!! LOL!) but you will have to bring your own car wash product of choice & detail stuff if you so choose. Shouldn't take that long. We'll be passing by a bunch of places to eat lunch at that time. I'd recommend RED ROBIN, but if that's not up for everyone we can do Wild Wing Cafe, or something else doesn't matter. Let me know.

4-6We can head out to the lake then for pics, or if you're not feeling that we can head down to the Vista where some of the old warehouses are for some really nice looking spots I think. When I was down there last Friday, there wasn't a whole lot of traffic either. Up to you guys, just throwing that out there. The lake costs to get in. I don't know how much it is now, somebody else may know. The Vista spots, or pretty much anywhere else, is free. Pics can be skipped too. If so, we can just hang out at Sandhills....even catch a movie....whatever.

6-11 Darlington. Well maybe not that whole time, but I say 6 because it takes about an hour to drive there from Columbia and it starts at 7. I recommend getting there early before all the big block boys start running because that's when it all slows down. You don't have to race, but you can take pics and record some of the action. There probably will be a wait. There always was in the past. But who knows? If we don't get the amount of runs in, this time block can be changed dramatically.

**If you head back to Columbia at that point, there's always the Vista going on, the "car enthusiasts" usually head out to Harbison Blvd, bars, etc. Let me know if you need any directions to anything, suggestions, etc. Once again, I'm only throwing all this out there with approximate times, 'cause things always change. Post up your thoughts. I'll pm everyone on the list my number when it gets a little closer.

Well Jake, only one person so far has dropped off so as far as I know the rest are good to go. Just get to the 76 Station. I've lived in my subdivision almost 4 years and it still doesn't show up on any gps. Can't even find it on Google last I looked. I'll pm those coming my number by Friday.

you should be able to check the speed sensor thru evo scan (dunno if the abs sensors can be read thru that) if your abs light is not on when the acd lights are, then it maybe the pump.

 

I haven't used EVOscan in about 2 years. I'm on the AEM. But yeah, no other light comes on, just the triplets.

well I know next to nothing about the AEM so i have no clue as to what it can check or not. sorrys

 

Yeah I know right! I switched before the geniuses unlocked the ecu. I'm actually contemplating switching back. Now, it really seems like the stocker is about to surpass the AEM if it hasn't already done so.

But seriously, I think my issue is more mechanical in nature so I don't think the AEM will be any issue whatsoever.

 

the issue becomes when you take it to the dealer, when they try to connect to the OBD2 port, the AEM wont connect to the Mitsu Scan System. so they wouldnt be able to manually activate the acd pump or solenoids, or inspect the readings of the ABS sensors and such.

 

Ah, I see. I'll have to figure something else out then.

 

yeah i know. Maybe someone can lend you a factory ECU

 

I've still got mine actually. Which is why I'm considering switching back to it when I take my car to BR next month.

That's exactly the reason I'm thinking about doing it.

 

i cant wait to find another Evo. Im missing owning one. I wanna find one with a bad engine, or mildly wrecked on the cheap.

 

Somebody sold a nice Evo VIII last month for $11k in Louisiana. It had 76k miles and mildly moddedtuned with some nice Volks on there too. If you are patient you'll find something nice. The new owner reports it works perfectly.

 

im looking for much less than that, so the wait continues

If it means i will get it cheaper, i dont want any interior except the 2 front seats. I dont care about rims, i have 3 extra sets arround me. I dont want a car with sunroof either. Im a picky bastard.
