Lecon...how did your beast end up running at darlington with the heat? Post on your times on my stock appearing turbo list buddy!!

 

I may join you at the track. No promises yet, but I see no reason why I couldn't go outside of not wanting to burn up my stock clutch! How far is this track from Columbia?

 

Well, I'm running the stock clutch... I don't plan on doing but a couple launches to test my mods. I had a bad boost leak last time, so I want to make sure my new BOV fixes it.

It's about 45 minutes from North East Columbia. We had a blast last time, man. We could've each EASILY ran 10 times, I think we all ended up with 5 runs before we left, and we left early.

July 18th. Darlington Dragway... Grudge Test and Tune, 7-11 PM. We had a pretty sorry showing last time, but the three of us had a blast. This is a month ahead of time, so people can make plans! C'mon, guys! Even if you don't want to run on the track, we can all meet up and ride out! A little mini-show at the Dragway!

i seen a blue evo by lexington medical center, just off 26 yesterday.

it was either a 7 or a 9, dont think an X evog8r. anyone on here?

 

wow, so many people on stock clutches still?

 

I had 26k and still going on my IX with a stock clutch. It was only replaced by the new owner after upgrading to a FP RED on E85 making 500whp. If driven right, they can last a long time at around 3##whp/wtq.

My X only has 9,000 miles so its on there for a bit yet.

 

The OEM clutch is good, especially if it's driven right. Launched perfectly fine at the track, and has been changed once according to CARFAX.

It's a 2004, now with 37K miles, clutched changed in '08, don't remember the mileage then off the top of my head... I bought it in Feb '09 with 32K miles, one female owner.

 

Ricky put me down on that list as 50%. Iwill request it off from work but no guarantees man.

i will let you know so far is 50% but once i get that day off it will change this to 100%... BTW does anyone wanna go this wednesday? i know that the track is open on wednesdays!
