I still have a $$ budget, and a C6 Z06 is WAY outside that budget. I love the body style of the C5 Z06, it stands out better in my eyes. And they are affordable too

I agree with you...I am a big fan of the c5 z06...car is more raw & i like that...I have ridden in both a c5 & c6 z06 & they are both beasts...c6 makes me think more of an old man cruiser car...haha...throw some long tubes, intake, cam & tune on a c5 z06 & that is fun car right there...

My plans, depending on the car I purchase, is to twin turbo it. Reason I held off from doing the twins on the GTO is traction and rear suspension. I would have to put about another 6-7k into the suspension BEFORE adding the twins to the setup that was on the GTO.

With the vette, I dont have to do as much, and putting more meat in the rear is alot easier. Plus the vette is much lighter The GTO is big heavy biotch.

If I were in the market for a car right now, I heard over the weekend that the JR Tuning/Racing/Towing 04 cobra is for sale for a killer price. Black convertible, looks stock, 91mm hellion turbo kit... car is nasty supposedly. There's some pics of it in here

we might be talking about the same car... black convertible, looks pretty stock, 91mm turbo, built motor, would probably run 200+mph on the highway?? I haven't heard a price that low, but if it is, that's a freaking deal!

No it is not the same car. This one is a black coupe with orange/red flames that was on the cover of modified mustang about 2 years ago. It is still supercharged (obviously no where near the stock blower) I know the mechanics that built the car, and at the last cam swap they were expecting/hoping to break 1200whp. I dont know if they did or not tho.

Bad News..
Stretched a connecting rod today and blew the engine sky high.
So I'm down for the count til i can rebuild it..
Built Buschur motor hopefully on the way soon with help from Justin @ Force-Fed Performance.

Goodbye - 5K tax refund Hello overtime til Summer

Put a silver dollar size hole in the block below the Intake mani and throttle body.

Went up in a cloud of smoke and metal bits everywhere, like a grenade going off.

Luckily i was 3 blocks from my house, and called my brother with his haulmark to come get it.

Stay tuned for the New engine build coming from Force-Fed Performance.

Been a bad day..
All i can do is shake my head as i see the image of it blowing up in my face happening over and over in my head.
BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM ....

WOW! Sorry to hear that mate. Well, at least you'll get to build it stronger than it ever was before.
