So those of you in Charleston, how'd the auto-x turn out? A friend of mine said there was about 4 or 5 EVOs there?

 

it really is, will is the guy that you told me that tunes your car for free around there? I need a provisional tune while i make an apointment to either go to topspeed or force performance

 

Blah!!!!!!! I wasn't able to get my new injectors tuned and running well enough to where I felt comfortable beating on my baby! Argh!

The only Evo's there were Myself (Not running), Kiley and LC... I don't recall seeing any others.

It was a "silver" onslaught!

 

They might be talking about me... I am getting close to have tuned almost all of the Evo's in the local area, but my time is getting very slim to none... (A little slip of some dough might be a motivator)

As for Topspeed tuning... Hmmm...... I will hold my tongue....

 

I didn't think you were, but even if it was directed towards me, I would have to take care of you with my Nerf dart gun. Pop Pop, Boink Boink off da forehead!Hahaha!

Oh, and some little midget slapped a new manifold along with a very heavily modified IX on my car on Sunday. I drove it to work this morning, and was taking it really easy until after work today I can tune it, but, I was hitting 20psi BEFORE 3,000 rpm, and even turned down the boost controller one full turn before driving it and still hit 32psi by a tad after 4,000rpm. Oops!

Damn, once I am done with my full 93 tune on this set-up, E85 here I come! Woo woo!

So no EVOs ran in the auto-x? What was up with that? No competition right?! E85 is looking better and better. I only have a few more parts to go and then I make the trip North. I want as close to 500 as can be, that is all.

 

hahahaha, that is so funny that ya'll say that about Topspeed. I wont go back there for a tune. MAYBE for a dyno day, but IDK yet.

Hey carlos, I have matt (touringbubble) tuning my car. And he has done a GREAT job at it too!

 

yeah learned my lesson about topspeed i guess it was good because it was close to my house but you get what you pay for

 

no you dont. you get what you over pay for and some you didnt want.
