Moving to Charleston Area, Need Help With Relocation Ideas

Hey all!

There is a new EVO coming to town! I will be moving VERY soon to the Charleston, SC area, and am looking for advice and guidance on what area's
I should be looking at.

Basically, I want to know what areas I should be looking into.

Any advice and/or help is greatly appreciated!

There are a ton of place's to live in Charleston. Do you want to be near anything specific. Like the airbase or downtown, or would you like to live a little further out and commute into downtown. What are you moving down there for.

I am moving there to work for a company located in Ladson.

Since I am unfamiliar with the area, I can't answer any of those questions really.

I don't necessarily want to live in the city, but what I would like is to just find a decent
place that has a garage to put my car & my bike in. Other than that, I am just looking to move to a place that is "nice", ie, not the "hood" or a bad section of town, if there is any.

Thanks all for the help...

I am looking at a place, for the time being:

Audubon Park Apartments
1700 Eagle Landing Boulevard
Hanahan, SC 29406

Any thoughts and/or comments on the apartments listed above?

Hop on www.evosc.com. You'll probably get more info from the Charleston folks.

Up in Mount Pleasant (north of Charleston) there is a large community called Rivertowne. Real estate is doing quite well there and you would definitely make some money on a house in that neighborhood.

Very true statement regarding real estate, but he would have to cross charleston to get up to Ladson where he said the company is located. I live in Mt P and its a 15 min drive just to base and thats before the bad areas (526/26 intersection). There are some nice places with garages being built in Ladson, Hunter's Bend is a good one. A good friend lives there that had an evo (hes getting a skyline now) and they are still relatively inexpensive, but growing.
