Tampa's Lancer Thread!!!
OK, anyone want to point me in the direction of having a set of cams installed. Must be resonably priced and competent. My favorite mechanic has developed a coke problem and I am not very trusting at this point.
I have a set of brand new WORKS cams I really want to get in. I looked at the how to and I think it just mighn't be a little much for me. Somewhere south would be great, I am assuming this is something I could make an appointment and call in sick to take the car to have it done.
I talked to Sunset Mitsu in Sarasota today and they don't even want to touch it.

sorry that has happen to ur mechanic......i beleive on of the tampa guys might know how to install it.....if not i have a friend that is a cert mechanic that might be able to assit....let me know

Just going into the mode where all I think about is, "I have these parts they need to be in the car!!!!"
Yea, I was hopeing to find a shop that does this work. It's getting to the point where that is what I need. I am planning a white rabbit turbo next and want to find a good shop.

I agree with juancevo8, vtech8tr is a highly skilled mechanic.

I just got done doing a complete motor swap. And rebuilt a head with stronger Ferrea and crower valvetrain. You can't even tell it has an AEM. I have been tuning my own map for several weeks now and it is kick ****
. Juan i will hit the track with you soon, i just gotta do more things to the car first.

Thanks guys, Obviosly his work speaks for him. I will figure out what to do this weekend, the wife is going to Orlando this weekend for some hairdresser thing. She wants me to go with her so I am considering Central Fla Turbo and getting some Dyno pulls done also.
