well the bolt pattern is the same, i had to dremel out the center of the rims hub to make iot match on the lancers hub. the spec v wheels have a slightly smaller hub than we do, but other than that, its a snap (took about 4-5 hrs to match them up)

Hey everyone....just thought id introduce myself...just got my 02 Lancer ES last saturday...love it already, even stock but...im here in tampa and just wondering how often you guys get together...im a noob, for sure...so i may be asking a lot of annoying questions...

welcome....you are correct the CAI wont fit.....ask all the ?'s you want...that is the way you learn right? well as far as meeting we have tried on more then one occasion to meet up but it doesnt seem to work....but we can keep on trying....it seems the best night to meet will be a sat night....everyone hangs out at parking lots either fowler and nebraska, dale mabry and flecther, or gandy....we should try there next time

personally im going for looks...not anything ricey,just a nice set of wheels and a new fb (would the kaminari fb look good with the OZ sideskirts and rb?)...in a long while from know im looking to SUPERcharge it (if anyone knows of any problems with this pls let me know). until i put some sort of forced induction thingymobober(super/turbocharger) i am lookin for a cai with significant gains.......um.......thats all i have to say about that.....

thanks alreay for everyone whos helped me out! anybody out there put their own spoiler on? if so...how complicated is it? is it pretty risky...as far as messing up the trunk? or should i have someone install it for me? thanks

i know your going to have to get some paint to cover that middle hole. You should be able to do it on your own.....but if it gets too hairy.....get a professional to finish the job

 

good call steve...im down...by the way..remember when i asked about the intakes? think ive prob decided on an AEM SRI (automatic :/ )....anyway...yeah...sonics a good place to grub too!
