Battle of The Imports this weekend

I am going to be racing in the battle of the imports this weekend is anyone else planning on attending? It is at orlando speed world (bithlo) Starts around 2 i think

man this event seemed to be one of the most un organized events I have ever attended!!

They tell u to get there @ 2 pm and then they are like oh well we arent going to race till 5 or 6 ish. 5 or 6ish???? WTF??? Plus add the nice and always fun rain delays to the day, and u get to make 1 pass after being there boared out of ur mind for 5 1/2 hrs to hear well sit around and maybe we will be able to race again...3 hrs go by and no announcements made...u find an official and they have know clue whats going on..then u finally get pissed and decide to leave and the cop as ur leaving knows more than the entire staff of officals and says to come back @ 8 am sun morning to finish the race.

Not to mention that the guys in the tec inspection were clueless!!! I saw a car that was missing 2 lug nuts pass the inspection, and an integra "GSR" (w/ drum brakes in the back) racing in the stock class that is self admitted to having a motor swap. COME ON PEOPLE!!! This event was suppose to be professional!!!

Plus they advertise a huge car show (not even 15 cars show up) and they advertise a bikini contest (no girls show up).

All in all it was a very disappointing experience!!!

Yeah man, I went and it definately sucked ***. Didn't look like anyone knew what was going on and no one looked like they knew **** about cars in the stands. When I pulled in and parked I thought I parked in the car show, now thats pretty bad if you ask me.
