Florida guys..help Plz

Hello everyone..

I am moving to Florida (Gainesville) around January hopefully and I have some concerns..

I run a test pipe ( catless) ...do cops in Florida act like California's cops??

here in Pennsylvania cops dont stop you for a loud exhaust or even inspect anything mechanical in the car closely. I mean... hell...I pass emissions without the cats cause I am friends with my mechanic.

Give me some feedback guys

I have had a cop inspect my exhaust system on the side of the road.

We have no mandated inspections, but having a test pipe in place is ILLEGAL.

Avoid this minor setback with Florida's finest (wincing typing that) with a gutted cat shell bolted around the testpipe.

Problem solved!

Thank you guys...I feel waaaay better now...Its funny...cause I had a nice job offer in California also but I chose Florida cause I knew California had to be the most unfriendly when it comes to emissions.

hopefully I get to see your beast at gainesville raceway. Of course the main drawback of florida is that the only E-85 stations are in Tallahassee and Lake City I think.
