I was gonna talk with you too...about the MBC. I did some quick reading on the boards here and saw some people having issues with an MBC...you see that? It's causing check engine lights, and causing the car to bog really bad. The X's use 2 electronic boost control solenoids (the IX's only used 1), and something with the way they work, with a MBC is causing some (potential) problems. If you want..give me a shout, you may have already seen the threads though too..

 

i havent seen those posts, but nobody has reported problems on evoxforms i would rather try then not, since i already paid for it and ****, but pm me your #, i got the new phone today and i dont have #s anymore

 

cool...if you search on the evo x "how to and install" threads on here...you will see. Almost every thread in one post or another has someone getting a CEL, or having some sort of boost prob. Hey...i'm game if you are. I'm not into cutting or drilling if it's not necessary (and it's not) so we could always put it back!

ive seen a few x's with mbc's. Most have them mounted on the back wall where the stock selenoids are located. The 2 or 3 i've come across werent having any problems with them. So hopefully that is some sort of good news for you

Hey everyone!!!....

I'm going to try to set up a dyno day down at National Speed in Wilmington! If I can get some more interest, Bigric09 is going to come out this way to tune some evo's. Everything is still in the development phases, but I was going to try to schedule it on OCT 18th. I was quoted $100/hr per car on the dyno for tuning. They may cut a small deal if we have several cars. If you want to just do 5 pulls with NO tuning it's $75.

We'll work out the cost of tuning in person, or via PM...To save some time on the dyno we'll need a list of your mods, and your current ROM. I can pull it from your cars if you don't have the cable/program. This will save time on the dyno, and ultimitely you some $$.

Just dyno, CBRD already did my tune.Also thats my last week in NC,I go back to GA on the 20th.

 

I havent tried yet, and im not sure what software is available... Ill do some research, but im guessing that there isnt going to be anything i can do for it. But id love to see that thing on the dyno for sure.

 

Sup peeps! Well my time here is nearing it's end. Getting ready to punch out to MSG school on the 11th of October and after that it's overseas for 3 years. I would like to set some thing up so we all can get together and hang one last time before I bounce out. I would like to do something more than just hang in a parking lot. So if anyone has any suggestions please post them. Hopefully we can have everyone make it. Let me know fellas!
