I just said that cuz' my #3 spark plug keeps missfiring and the guy at advanced auto said I might have blown a piston ring. So I was thinking why not ( if I have the money when I get back from Iraq) just start building a BR motor.

do compression... i would bet the coil or wires are going before the rings are home boi..post a pic of the plugs and ill tell u whats wrong.. BTW people that work at advance cant tell you ****... all they know how to do is test battires and sell air freshiners

 

I did a compression test: 160, 160, 155, 160. The spark plug just turns black.

 

I'm not familiar with the crewdog special.

 

if it is turning black that means u have unburnt fuel (rich) betcha 100 bucks the wries or coils are going
