I'm living in the Government Center in Ramadi and there was a VBIED that went off at the front gate of the compound then a secondary went off about 1 hour from the first one and not too far either.

I bought a head to get it ported at Buschur. I also have a spare t/b, i/m, and e/m to get them ported too. I'm not sure on the turbo I want though. I'm extending so I'll probably buy a BR block or just some drop-in's too. I kinda want a HTA86 w/ cast mani. I have time to think about it though.

How are things in Actionville?

Man, really you need to decide which route you want to go! Are you going for full on drag monster? That hta86 doesn't even begin to build any substantial amount of boost till well past 5k rpm. You will get WORKED by a civic on the streets. The guys running that thing are all running 35+psi too. You will HAVE to have a fully built motor to support that. For the $$ you're gonna blow on that you might as well sell yours and pick up a GT-R when you return!....haha

hmm don't know who it was. Didn't hear anything. Dude..pm me your phone number! For some reason I don't have it anymore. I can txt you when we meet up and stuff. We tried to today, and nobody could. I think the track is still on Sundays for their "winter" hours. I'd have to look at their site to see when they move to Fri for midnight madness.

 

I called and they said April 3rd for midnight madness. Which is this coming Friday, my digits are 910 787 2961.

got evoscan 2.6 beta 8 but still doesnt work for me supposedly beta 9 should have the kinks out for the X's

 

d*mn X's! lol It just takes time. Before you know it, there will be 10 different flashing/logging programs out there.

 

The turbo is one of the last things on the list. I'm not sticking with the stock block. I bought ARP head studs and an OEM head gasket so I'll try pushing 30+ psi. This is nothing I'll get done in a week or so, I have a kevlar timing belt in my back seat that I'll have to get put in too (install isn't easy). manifolds still have to get ported, tranny needs rebuilt, including the transfer case (I think ECP put in a "no-name" transfer case, it's whining again). I'm just in the collecting parts stage. I'll probably take it to National Speed or somewhere to get the work done, the barracks isn't the best place to do these things. I just wish there were more reputable places in Jacksonville.

 

I have a shop in Cape Carteret (20 min drive) that is really good with everything they did a lot of work on my 3000. If you want I can get you a quote.
