There's no point in running at the track anymore...The last time I ran with a really good 60' I run out of 4th gear way before the finish. I don't see any point in beating on the car for nothing. It's dissapointing crossing in neutral...

Are they sending everyone with a Version 1 intake a new one, or did you get a hookup? I would like to get one of them. I am also getting the new pump that Labonte has for their meth kits. Only $120 so I have to do it. I will be home soon.

Ben, I'd call it a hook up. I've been in contact with ETS since the idle issues showed their ugly face. I told Mike about it, and luckily they're hooking him up too. I really doubt they would send everyone a free $200 intake. That'd be like FP sending everyone with a FP Green a new FP Red bc it's the new version.

 

Now that is a hookup I wouldn't mind. Tell him about my issues and being in Asscrakistan to boot. Maybe he will hook me up too.

 

Arent you running a buschur pipe? I didn't think you were having idle issues?? It runs like a beast again with that pipe on there tho. You could feel the restriction with the stocker, but it was working. Now with this..it's perfect..and LOUD! haha

I don't know about the other shop recommended, but so far Majestic has been really good to my brother and me. Been really straight forward and the prices aren't bad.

My Evo is actually at Majestic right now getting put back together. And my brother's TT Supra will be there within a week or so to get a built head (although I think Edge Brother's will be actually building the head).




On a side note where do all the Evo guys hang out now? I haven't really been keeping up with it lately so I'm curious.

There were a few cars out in front of Best Buy last night, but as soon as I saw that there were 4 or 5 Neon SRT4s there I completely lost interest in checking it out. One of them still managed to act like a jack *** pulling out of the parking lot while I was standing outside of Dicks.

I wonder if there are any places around here where the car guys gather and there is no BS.....and no Viper guy.

 

finally got rid of the HKS piece of crap BOV for a Forge BOV..it is so quiet. I freaking love the thing. No part throttle surges..Its awesome.

I still have the HKS..gonna try and sell it on here.

The Forge is so quiet, probably too quiet...you have to be pretty much damn near open to hear the thing hiss.. and then it really still isnt very loud..No its a recirc piece, no part throttle problems at all..Im in love lol..

Oh and i think im getting a EPM dump instead


AWD Motorsports down here in FL is doing the tune..they are pretty good.they have that8 that went 8.9's or something..guys are pretty cool too.


So im shoooting for 350 with the simple mods and Ill be alright.

Based on what they said, cams shouldnt be considered on the 9 less youre going big big boost.
