Well I can tell you from experience the weather here is much better than up north. More humid, but you get used to it. I grew up in Mansfield Connecticut (father taught at UCONN) , and moving down here was like vacation. You won't know what to do with yourself.

Tuner wise there are not many options right now, Kasey, formerly of MA Performance, and the MotionLab crew. I have no experience with MotionLab so I cannot say anything about them, but I can say that I've had exceptionally good experience with Kasey.

I've had great experience with both personally.

Kasey did a clutch/flywheel job and tuned my car, both were done quite well. Especially the tune, it was done about a year and a half and I get no knock in cold or hot weather.

Motion Lab Tuning is a fantastic shop, and they also did a clutch/flywheel after my aftermarket parts had defects and failed. Todd the owner is a really good guy, down to earth and knows his stuff. Brad their tech knows his Evos and Subarus quite well. I plan to bring my car to them for the 60k timing belt replacement among other things.

Motion Lab also has this guy Tim (dsm25psi) who does janitorial work and cleans the toilets. Tim does a fantastic job, you can eat off those floors, and I've never seen a cleaner toilet.

shh!! sleeping - South Park is really close to where I live, let us know if you decide to relocate down here.

IMO,

Kasey is the best tuner/installer in this area. My car has come from a stock car to a car with over 500hp. The whole way he has been outstanding... There has been issues here and there but he has worked through everything with my car and done it well. He is very fair with pricing and takes care of his people. He has a ton of experience and has been in the evo tuning scene for quite some time. There are a ton of people in this area that wouldn't trust their cars with anyone else. I have had some experiences with other SHOPS... would I say that im impressed.... no.... I know stuff happens but come on... I have heard some horror stories...
