Charlotte Area Evo Owners
Here's what I've learned, this may already be obvious to others.
(1) While the car is running the ACD fluid will actually go below the min line, this tends to freak some people out but is totally normal.
(2) Once you turn the car off, it takes 90 minutes at least for the ACD fluid to get back to the max line. Again, this freaks people out who check the level before 90 minutes are up.
(3) Use only Mitsubishi Diamond ATF SP3 fluid in the ACD reservoir. It's relatively cheap, around $6.50 a quart from the dealer, I bought two so I have plenty left over if you want to stop by and top it off. It's a thin red fluid.
(4) You can actually run the ACD pump without turning on the car. You turn the key to the last position before you can crank the car, then press the accelerator pedal, and you should hear the ACD pump running.
(5) Three ACD lights at the same time can mean multiple things: (a) ACD fluid low (b) ACD pump failing (c) brake sensor (d) fuse short (e) air in ACD system

Hey guys, need to run something by you...I met this guy online who has an Evo and he's planning to move to the Charlotte area with his girlfriend. He's really into weapons and things, especially swords.
So let's welcome our new friends with open arms during our next meet.
Here's a pic he sent me, I say he's in without even meeting them:

We got e85 gas stations around not a lot but enough, it all depends where you going to be living in charlotte. A lot of us run e85 in our cars down here.

Also, if your location LI means Long Island, then you are going to like the weather down here, today it's 80 degrees and sunny. We only have 2-3 days of light snow per year. Plus we hardly ever salt our roads, so the underside of the Evo will thank you.
Keep us updated on your plans.
