fun road...I tried not to get over 60 since the speed limit is 35 and I have a prayer for judgement for reckless driving (
)... The "s" turns are plentiful, and from Jamies house are on camber. I found with my stock suspension very little understeer going in, but noticed a little on power coming out. Fun road, only things I was worried about were other drivers coming over the lines, and people coming out of their driveways...

It was an unmarked state trooper in a BLACK JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WITH TINTED WINDOWS. If you see him, you've been warned.
^ there is also a blue twin turbo 350z. also a black mustang cobra with 5% tint. and i also heard of a black evo 9. but havent seen that one yet. all owned by the state. got them in a street racing case. they decided to keep them instead of crushing them. be warned. thats why i just race busted up civics and girls in miatas. by the way sleeper how fast were you going. i got caught 3 yrs ago doing 136 in a 35mph. took a good laywer and me paying off his benz to get out of that one with my licenses
i lost my license a few years ago in 2007 for 103 in a 65. hopefully yours isnt worse than that. they wouldnt even give me a PFJ. just a few minutes ago on my way home from lunch i took the curviest road in the area which is also a 35 like blacksnake and right in the very first turn there was 2 mowers and 2 suv's that i met in my lane. so be careful on roads you cant see around the turn, i almost got hit head on
Yeah, the norm for getting caught street racing is one year without your license. Don't do it. IMHO it's not worth putting your foot down short of a 911 or M3, etc. They don't have any of those yet, do they?BTW, did a merge from 85 north onto 77 north with a bunch of traffic so did some fairly high speed maneuvers to get around the riff-raff. Ended up with a black Dodge Charger tailgaiting me really tight. Lots of blue lights and computers and stuff inside his cabin. I got lucky - I'm sure he was running my plate number before doing anything and saw I was an old guy living in Mooresville (I was 49 at the time).Track days at Carolina Motorsports Park are in order, although it's about $240 per day.
yeah theres no way i would race someone on the highway even though it is really tempting. we all know how fast our cars are so dont give someone else the joy of seeing how quick it is haha. i was just being a dumbass when i got my ticket and i was doing a 6th gear pull and got busted right when i let off the gas unfortunately

It was 95 in a 65 and he added reckless to the ticket.
Within 20 minutes I had faxed the citation to my lawyer and sent him payment. He seems confident he can get the reckless dropped, it's 5 points, so I hope he can do it. Then he'll work on the speed and see if somehow he can get it so it doesn't affect my insurance. I've had good experience with my lawyer, he has had no less than 3 tickets outright dismissed, although I seriously doubt that will happen this time.
He'll try and work with a DA who will play ball, if not he'll just keep continuing the case until he sees a favorable situation.
Ugh.
