Hey guys is anyone interested in going down to Fayetteville this weekend for the big NYCE1 event. We should have new clutch installed this week. If everything goes well, think I'm gonna enter in the street class division. If anyone else is interested maybe we could put together a little convoy to drive down together.

Some of you guys may recall I had a bad speeding ticket courtesy of Mr. State Trooper, he got me at 95 in a 65 plus reckless driving.
My lawyer negotiated with the DA and had it lowered to 80 in a 65 and the reckless dropped.
What do you guys think?

^ Good job! That probably didn't result in any points, either, did it? What's the lawyer run these days? About $500?
I actually had one try to charge me with felony hit and run once. It was a bit of a stretch and the judge saw through it, too. But still needed a lawyer (obviously!) and that was $400, about six years ago. It went to speeding and no points.
I see light brown Suburbans, almost any color Chevy Impala (or whatever that 4-door sedan is), plenty of dark dodge Chargers. Easy to spot from behind with the "SHP-XXXX" license plates, but otherwise...

My lawyer ran me $375. This guy is amazing, he used to be an assistant district attorney, and knows most of the DA's in Charlotte very well. He has had no less than 3 of my previous tickets prior to this outright dismissed.
