Always nice to cruise with a group of 8 Evo's...that was a blast...already looking forward to next week.
That was crazy how we get on the highway and meet up with you guys! It was nice to see you guys as well! Hopefully next time we come we will have like 6 or 7 evos just from our area! It would nice to see close to 20 in one spot.

This caravan is mostly for people who live in South Charlotte and Fort Mill, since we take I-485 anyway and Sticky Fingers at Johnston Rd is on the way for us. Unfortunately meeting BMW on Independence first would be complicated for such a large group. I'll talk to some of the others and see what they think.

On Memorial Day (Monday 5/28) later this month I'll be attending a unique autox event at Carolina Motorsports Park down in Kershaw, SC. It is about 50 miles due south from Charlotte and takes about an hour to get there. Basically you just go down Hwy 521 for an hour.
If anyone has played Forza 4, this is exactly like the events where they put cones on road courses. Since this is an SCCA autox event, all you need is your car, valid driver license, and the entry fee of $55 for non members. That's it. They have loaner helmets at the event and I'll be there to help you out if this is your first autox.
Here's the event flyer if you're interested:

Here is a picture of the track we'll be racing on:

Tim (dsm25psi) actually works at BMW on Independence...is there a specific reason you want to leave from BMW to go to the meet?
I'm up for anything that increases the amount of Evo's that caravan to the meet.
