On Memorial Day (Monday 5/28) later this month I'll be attending a unique autox event at Carolina Motorsports Park down in Kershaw, SC. It is about 50 miles due south from Charlotte and takes about an hour to get there. Basically you just go down Hwy 521 for an hour.
If anyone has played Forza 4, this is exactly like the events where they put cones on road courses. Since this is an SCCA autox event, all you need is your car, valid driver license, and the entry fee of $55 for non members. That's it. They have loaner helmets at the event and I'll be there to help you out if this is your first autox.

Out of 144 drivers who ran, Joe got 9th overall while I placed 20th in raw times. And while most drivers got four runs, Joe and I both only got two runs, and agreed we could have definitely improved on our times.
Oh cool. I didnt get to see the results. Thanks for posting that up! 9th wasnt to bad considering the first run was in complete wet conditions and the 2nd was in partial wet conditions!

I was courious about the same as thenuzz. I drive a OZ and by no means claim any hang time with 10+psi spikers! I have a coupl of friends in subis, (coughCOUGHcivicsCOOUGH COUGH), but have seen a group of EVOs out never been able (metaphorically speaking PIG latin) catch one and just say what up. My brother in law designs a greater majority of CCI logos and merch and heard through a friends uncles cousins roomate. You guys always meet on thursdays? Change up location? Let me know!
