I was planning on it but the forecast shows 80% rain tomorrow so that may not be ideal.

If our normal event is rained out, then we'll just have to create our own.

It's time to have a Charlotte area Lancer/Ralliart/Evo meet, either this Friday or Saturday. We used to meet at Red Robin in South Charlotte off of Johnston and 485, but we can pick any location really.

Let's hear some suggestions on the time and place, I can meet whenever, so it's up to you guys.

 

I have a race this Saturday at Zmax Dragway up in Concord. If you guys want to meet up there you guys can chill and watch some racing!

Another guy and I from 9glancers are trying to get some meets going in the charlotte area. We usually meet up at Northlake near the red robin and chic fil a since there is a big parking lot that's usually empty. Also cars and coffee.

 

I'm down for a meet at some point. I am at Kure Beach till this weekend for a training with the National Guard. I used to be on 9glancers but stop going on the forums once I got back from Iraq. I check the local forum and thats about it. if you are going to plan on having a meet give some time so I can check my work schedule. Northlake might be a little to far for me to drive right now since I live in Wingate but we are going to be moving back to Charlote around October.

 

Are you army or air? I'm air. We were thinking it would be good to get everyone out a cars and coffee. It's the first saturday of each month. (I won't be able to for aug because of drill weekend) It's at the nc music factory downtown.

 

I second that idea...Love the weekend instead of Thursday meeting.

Id say alternate north and south Charlotte. Maybe Concord (Z-max) for a event ect.

Throwing idea around. I really like the idea for sure. Going to start turbo build soon so it would e nice to meet some advance tech enthusiasts as this will be a NA to turbo build. Already use evoscan and ecuflash but turbos are new to aside I know how they work and fabrication and modification will be needed but thats about it. Stronger on the ecu side of things.

Keep thread updateed with a L-E-R type meet up. Would be unique and Iv seen enough to know it could grow

U want a timing kit? Why dont you just find a used 1.3u or 2.0 tactrix with evoscan and ecuflash and get your specidic timing control to spec for your mod setup. You can gain far more hp for far less my friend. even a used TCU by RRM would be more expensive than a 1.3u cable
