Glad to see some more Evos on the forum.
Looks like we need to have another meet. How does everyone feel about getting together sometime over memorial day weekend, maybe the Saturday. If that does not work, how about the weekend of September 13th. If this does not work, someone throw out a date, I'll be there (As long as it is not Sept 6th, got to go out of town).
ATL SRT-4 and I did a mountain run. It was great, the weather was perfect. The SRT-4 did pretty good. The Evo did well, I am very happy with the handling, but the car could use a little more power, not much, maybe 30 horses to help with exit speed up the mountain.
Anyways, let get together.

Hey what's up guys? I should be picking my new EVO up at the dealership tomorrow. My freind bought one about a month ago and since I drove his I decided I should buy one also. He bought a white one (like jackie chan) and I'm opting for the silver. I think I'm getting a good deal 28,200 with a spoiler, sunroof, the brushed shift knob and pedals, and the tinted cluster. What kind of deals did you guys get in the metro atlanta area?

 

Does anyone want to go to NOPI. One of the RSX drivers has created a club name so we can all be parked next to each other. I am going to regester today.
Also, does anyone want to buy a manual boost controler and boost gauge/ mount for the Evo. I have them and decided not to install them. I am having some issues with the drivetrain and will be facing warenty issues. Plus, in the future I might use some other things. The parts are from Bruscher and are nice. PM me if you are interested. I'll sell them cheap.

 

NOPI sounds like a plan. I was kindof shocked to see that they were bringing it back to the ATL this year what with all that happened last year.

Man I wish I had known about the boost gauge. I just installed mine this past weekend. I am very happy with mine, though... I got the Defi BF boost gauge... excellent quality.

 

Doesn't sound like a bad price at all. Did they already have the shift knob and pedals installed or did you ask them to throw those in? Just make sure they aren't tacking on the "price adjustment" at the end of all the calculations. What dealership are you working with? I got my Apex Silver Evo at Rick Case in Gwinnett.

 

So who for sure thinks they will be able to make it to the next Evo meet on Saturday September 13th. Also I am up for another mountain run if anyone else is we can start the planning and maybe go to Dels Gap(not sure if I spelled it right). But definetly want to go up to the Triangle run again with my new suspension mods.
