So who crashed? (florida...)
Hey guys.
First let me just say Hi, I'm a current admirer of the Evo X and plan on either an Evo X or 335i as my next car this summer. Can't decide on which, i'm 23 so I am leaning towards the Evo simply because i don't think the 335i sits well with my active lifestyle (Mountain biking, auto x, ect). I currently drive a turbo charged Toyota Mr2 (MR-S). Heres a picture for those who are interested.
Pretty simple little car, GT28r pushing at about 8psi, lays down a little north of 200hp, its pretty quick and a joy to drive. I just need something a little more practical.
So long story short, i'm driving in florida on 295 heading south and what do i see? A new EVO X crashed into a guard rail. My guess was it carried a bit to much speed coming up the on ramp and lost control crossing over all 3 lanes and into the median and hitting the railing. The car didn't look totalled but it definetly wasn't moving. A cop was on scene when i passed. It was White by the way.
SO who wants to fess up and say it was theirs?

It came at such a funny time... I had spent most of the week really diving into this forum and reading a whole lot and then i start driving to see the family for easter and boom theres an Evo into the guard rail. poor car.

well, this is not the first X they crashed in florida. I went to a dealer here in maimi and asked for a test drive for the X, the sales guy told me that nobody was allowed to test drive the evo X anymore because some guy took it for a drive with a sales person and crashed it!!!!! How dumb can somebody be??? Crash the car on the 1st test drive!!! The worst part is that the guy had to buy the crashed car, and sent it to mitsubishi body shop to get it fixed.

Refusing a test drive for a qualified person is illegal. Mitsubishi would revoke thier license. they just didnt want you to drive it unless they had signed paper work or money down. I actually prefer a car that has not been driven by anyone.

Welcome to the forum!
Get a IX X's are heavy and slow. Or better yet, save some cheddar and get a new RA thats coming in a few months.
